The first national conference on space medicine in Poland is a unique event aimed at bringing together the scientific, clinical, technological, and institutional communities engaged in one of the most rapidly evolving fields of modern science.

As humanity prepares for the return of crewed missions to the Moon and future expeditions to Mars, space medicine is no longer a niche discipline — it is becoming a powerful tool for understanding the human body, its limitations, and its remarkable capacity for adaptation.

This conference will showcase what is already happening in Poland: research on the biological effects of cosmic radiation, the development of physiological monitoring systems, the application of artificial intelligence, and omics-based approaches in extreme environments. It will also highlight the potential for international collaboration, innovation, and education through Poland’s participation in programs coordinated by ESA and POLSA.
